NSW vehicles/trailers nominated for Maintenance Accreditation incorrectly requiring Inspections

Recently we have seen an increase of NSW registered vehicles/trailers, which are nominated for Maintenance Management, incorrectly requiring an RMS/HVIS inspection Condition on the renewal notice or on the online RMS renewal system.  

Vehicle and trailers nominated for Maintenance are exempt from the RMS/HVIS however is many cases the incorrect codes are attached to these nominated vehicles and trailers which prevents the renewal being processed. If this occurs close to the expiry date it can stop the renewal being processed. (The error is caused by a mismatch between the various registration and NHVR systems. 

To ensure that NSW registered vehicles/trailers have the correct condition code, you can visit Service NSW website or when you receive your renewal notice, please check the Condition codes section (well before the expiry date) to ensure it has the correct wording (example shown below).
