New Registration of Secondhand vehicles at Dealerships and Agencies

We have experienced some significant delays when trying to add vehicles onto Mass and Maintenance recently where the vehicles or trailers are second hand / used and have recently been registered at either the dealership or a regional VicRoads agency.

Unlike new vehicles and trailers which are immediately “visible” on the VicRoads system and can be added to accreditation immediately, second hand vehicles can take up to 4 weeks to be “live” , until they are visible on the system they cannot be added to PBS, Permits, Mass or Maintenance.

To ensure your vehicles and trailers can be quickly added to your accreditation or permits please ensure they are registered directly at a VicRoads office where ever possible.
