TMA - an IAP alternative

Hi everyone,

Several states, including NSW, have approved the use of TMA to enable vehicles to operate at HML (Higher Mass Limits) on the approved HML networks.

Previously, in NSW and QLD, to operate at HML required vehicles to be enrolled in the Intelligent Access Program (IAP) program, the IAP program monitors the location of the vehicle when it is operating at HML as not all roads are approved for HML loading. If the vehicle is found to be operating at HML on a non-approved road, the state road authority (RMS or DMR) can impose sanctions on the operator.

IAP is very expensive, approximately $350 per vehicle per month on a minimum 3 year contract.

TMA however is relatively cheap at $110.00 per vehicle per months on 12 month contract.

With a large amount of grain remaining in storage throughout NSW now may be a good time to look at upgrading to TMA.

(See attached document for more information).

Over the past 12 months we have been working with Paul Fenech and the team at V-DAQ, a TMA supplier based in Wollongong NSW. We have been impressed by V-DAQ’s customer service, knowledge and equipment.

If you want to know more contact Paul Fenech at VDAQ (see below).
